1. Our guarantee
All Deed Polls supplied by us are genuine and original and will be accepted as valid by all UK Government Agencies, Departments and UK Business organisations. If your Deed Poll is not accepted as evidence of your change of name by any UK organisation, a letter must be provided from the organisation concerned stating that this is the case. We will personally contact the concerned organisation that has rejected it and reassure them of the law surrounding Deed Polls.
2. If we make a mistake
In the unlikely event that we do make a mistake, please notify us of our mistake using the on-line help form or by telephone on 0845 805 5366.
We will produce a new Deed Poll free of charge with the corrected information providing the original package is returned to us within 7 days of you notifying us of the mistakes
3. If you make a mistake
We do understand that people make mistakes. If you have made a mistake with the information that you have supplied to us, and you notify us using the on-line help form or by telephone on 0845 805 5366 before your chosen package has been dispatched, we will make the necessary corrections for you free of charge.
If you inform us after dispatch we can produce a new Deed Poll for the ‘Postal Package’ with the corrected information providing the original is unsigned and returned to us within 7 days of you notifying us of the mistakes, but this corrective action will incur an administration charge of £10.
We cannot correct mistakes for the ‘Online Package’ once the package has been dispatched to the email address that you supplied to us.
4. What we will do with your information
We will use the information that you have voluntarily supplied to us to produce a Deed Poll Document for yourself. Once your Deed Poll has been created and dispatched, unless you request otherwise, we will hold your information in order to confirm the validity of your Deed Poll, should it be requested by any organisations you have supplied it to. We will only do this after first obtaining your consent to reply to these organisations.
Partially fulfilled orders, where the change of name data has been supplied to us but the payment has not been made, will be kept for a maximum of 24 hours, after which time it will be destroyed and erased from our systems.
5. What we will not do with your information
We do not collect any information about you without your knowledge. All information as supplied by you is done voluntarily for the sole purpose of creating Deed Poll documents and associated services as specified in ‘The Products List’, and will not be used for any other purpose or processing. We will not sell or give your information to any third party at any time, unless it forms part of a properly constituted and served warrant. We conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.
This Website does collect IP address information for the sole purpose of statistical analysis or blocking & reporting spam attacks. It will not be used or processed by us for any other reason.
6. Price
All prices shown are inclusive of Taxes and Postage. Prices for Products & Services may vary and are correct only as advertised on ‘The Products List’ page in real time on this website. Any search engine stored pages are historical and will not be considered as being advertised pages. We do not offer any form of discount or partial payment.
7. Payments
Payment for Products & Services from Personal Deed Poll Services can only be made by secure Credit or Debit Card transaction via Paypal through our website.
8. Delivery
Please note that we will only dispatch your chosen Product or Service once your payment has been confirmed by Paypal. We will use best endeavours to dispatch The Online Package within 24 hours and The Postal Package within 48 hours, but will guarantee to dispatch all orders within 4 working days of your order being placed on our web site. The Postal Package and Certified Copies will be dispatched using Royal Mail UK Standard delivery service.
9. Privacy
We respect your privacy by the enforcement of a strict company privacy policy. We will never contact you via unsolicited email. In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act 2003 we do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam), and we conform with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.
10. Complaints & Correspondence
Complaints can be made in writing or via email to: admin@pdpsdeedpolls.org.uk, or to the address shown here, Personal Deed Poll Services, 54 Queen Street, Blaenavon, Torfaen NP4 9NG, addressed to the proprietor I.Parker-Joseph. Your statutory rights are not affected by any of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right not to accept or fulfil your order at any time without giving a reason.
11. Cookies
This site does not use cookies.
12. Security
We have a detailed security policy in place to ensure that your data is safe. All transactions are conducted on Paypal secure server and all your data is kept on fully secure internal servers with encryption.
13. Disclaimer
Whilst every care has been taken in the compilation of the information provided on this website, Personal Deed Poll Services will not be held liable or responsible for any loss, damage or other inconvenience caused as a result of any inaccuracy or error within the pages of this website, nor for any subsequent fraudulent or illegal activity of Personal Deed Poll Services customers.
14. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to provide our services if such failure results from any act of God, riot, war, civil unrest, official or unofficial industrial action, flood or other cause beyond our reasonable control
